DUNGEONS & DUNGEON MAPS — One guide to map-based expeditions. One leader's map opens a run for up to five players. Use the sections below for dungeon access, map drops, layouts, modifiers, crafting and rewards.
DUNGEON MAPS: THE INTERFACE EXPLAINED
Follow the numbered controls, from your backpack to the expedition and market.
Start with 01, then open the section you need. These are native offline client captures with example map rolls. Gold numbers and outlines were added as a guide overlay; the actual game controls remain unchanged. Read the numbered notes below each image, or click it for full size. The chat background in 06 is simplified for this preview.

Choose And Review Your Map

Use a map in your backpack to open this window. Follow these numbers before spending materials or preparing an expedition.

01 / CHOOSE AND REVIEW YOUR MAP — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Choose a map. Filter by dungeon, layout, difficulty or rarity; then select a map from your inventory.
2. Check its identity. The dungeon sets the enemies, while the layout sets the route. Normal is a difficulty; Exalted is a rarity, not a higher difficulty.
3. Compare the totals. Green values show rewards, red density adds enemies, and Risk is a pressure score in points, not a percentage.
4. Read every modifier. Green rolls help you; warm colours indicate danger. The current roll is followed by its possible range in brackets.
5. Prepare expedition when the roll suits your build. Start in a protection zone, outside combat, with the required access and difficulty unlocked.
6. After a successful run, return to town and use Claim rewards for completion Dust and the next difficulty unlock. Check your inbox.

See The Route Before You Enter

Hover the map icon in Review your map. This example is L11 Three Terraces, which has three connected floors.

02 / SEE THE ROUTE BEFORE YOU ENTER — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Hover this icon. It opens the route of the selected map; you do not need to recognize the route from the small item icon.
2. Inspect the full layout. Three Terraces shows Floor 1, Floor 2 and Floor 3 together. Other layouts use one floor.
3. Read the built-in legend: S is the entrance, B is the boss position, and matching 1 / 2 markers connect the floors. Gold tutorial numbers outside the preview are separate from these blue floor-link numbers.

Read A Map Directly In Your Backpack

Hover a map item to inspect its exact roll without opening the browser. This example deliberately shows a difficult Hell / Exalted combination.

03 / READ A MAP DIRECTLY IN YOUR BACKPACK — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Confirm the dungeon, layout, difficulty, rarity and seal state. Purple Exalted identifies six possible modifier slots.
2. Compare reward totals and Risk. The large green rewards on this example are paired with serious penalties below; they do not make it an easy map.
3. Read the rolled element and locks. Elemental Surge / Fire calls for fire protection. [Locked] preserves that modifier during family/value rerolls; the bracketed numbers on the right are the roll range.
4. Use the item to open Dungeon Maps when you want to inspect the route, craft, sell or prepare it.

Change The Route In The Workshop

Improving a map is optional. This example selects Reroll layout on an unsealed Normal map.

04 / CHANGE THE ROUTE IN THE WORKSHOP — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Choose the operation. Reroll layout changes the route to one of the other fourteen layouts; it keeps the dungeon, difficulty, rarity, affixes and locks.
2. Read the final price before clicking. This Normal map costs 50,000 gold, 4 Dust and 1 Compass. The gold portion increases with difficulty.
3. Check materials in your inventory. The icons distinguish Dust, Ink, Compass, Wax and Seal. Move delivered materials from your inbox into a backpack before using them.
4. Click Reroll layout to pay and change the route. Afterwards, check the new layout name and hover its icon again. Sealed maps cannot be rerolled.

Review And Accept The Ready Check

The leader supplies one map for one to five players. A ready check does not bypass anyone's access, reborn, level or unlocked difficulty.

05 / REVIEW AND ACCEPT THE READY CHECK — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Check the party roster. The list identifies the players invited to this expedition; it is not a per-player acceptance indicator.
2. Verify the map being used. This example is a sealed Master / Exalted Gorgols map; everyone must qualify for this dungeon and difficulty.
3. Read the extra contract. A Commanders seal requires three marked commanders to be defeated before the boss unlocks.
4. Respond within the displayed 30-second window. Activate Normal Mode rewards and finish its two-minute arming period before entry, then remain at the ready-check position.
5. Click Ready to enter only after reviewing the roll. Everyone must accept; Decline rejects the expedition. A failed pre-entry check does not consume the map.

Track The Expedition Above Chat

The actual dungeon panel is rendered above a simplified offline chat area. It follows the chat position and can compact when space is limited.

1. Check the active map and hover its layout thumbnail to inspect the route again while inside the expedition.
2. Watch clear progress and the current objective; the timer is directly above the counter. Reach at least 95% and defeat the boss before time expires; finish 100% before boss death for extra Dust.
3. Review the active bonuses and affixes. The Details control expands or compacts this information when there is enough space above chat.
4. Leave map ends your participation after confirmation. Death also ends participation, so decide before accepting a risky roll.

Inspect A Market Offer

Market offers let you obtain a particular dungeon map directly. The displayed 250 WAD Coins is an example seller price, not a fixed system price.

07 / INSPECT A MARKET OFFER — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Filter offers by the dungeon and map properties you want, then select a listing.
2. Check the dungeon, difficulty, rarity, seal state and seller's WAD Coin price. Buying a higher difficulty does not unlock entry to it.
3. Inspect the exact reward totals and every rolled modifier. The purchased item keeps this roll.
4. Choose Buy selected map and review the confirmation. The purchased map goes to your inbox; move it into a backpack before use.

Set A Price And Confirm The Sale Offer

Select your map in My maps, then click Sell this map. This confirmation appears above the browser.

08 / SET A PRICE AND CONFIRM THE SALE OFFER — numbered controls explained below
Example preview. Gold numbers explain the controls and are guide annotations. Click the image for its full size.
1. Verify the map identity. The market holds this exact item until someone buys it or you cancel the offer.
2. Enter a whole WAD Coin price. Here 250 is only an example; choose the price you intend to charge.
3. Confirm creates the offer. After a sale, use Claim sale proceeds in Market offers to collect the proceeds in your inbox.
4. Cancel closes this dialog without listing the map. To withdraw an existing offer later, select your own listing in Market offers and cancel it.
