Character Auctions are a separate client system for selling and buying a complete character. They are not the same as the item auctions inside the WAD Market.

The auction window shows the character's name, vocation, level, reborns, health, mana, combat skills, outfit and equipped items. The listing also displays whether it uses Premium Points or Shop Points.

Listing your character

Use this registered player command from another character on the same account:

!addauction Character Name,Days,Starting Price,Buy Now Price

Example:

!addauction Dragon Knight,3,500,1200

Requirement	Explanation
Same account	The character placing the command and the character being sold must belong to the same account.
Character offline	Log out the character being listed before using the command.
Vocation selected	A vocation-less character cannot be listed.
No house	Transfer or leave the character's house before listing it.
Duration	More than 0 and no more than 7 days.
Prices	Starting price must be positive. Buy Now must be higher than the starting price.

Once listed, the auctioned character cannot log in until the auction finishes or is otherwise removed from the auction. Review its equipped items before confirming because the complete character is transferred to the winner's account.

Bidding and Buy Now

• Place bids through the character-auction window in the client, not through a chat command.
• Normal player listings use Premium Points; the window identifies any listing that instead uses Shop Points.
• A bid must be higher than the current price and lower than Buy Now.
• You cannot bid on a character from your own account or outbid yourself while already leading.
• The full bid is reserved from your account balance. Previous bids are refunded when a new highest bidder takes the lead.
• Buy Now uses the displayed Buy Now price and finishes the auction immediately.

Anti-snipe: a bid during the final 5 minutes moves the end time to 5 minutes after that bid.

Completion

If the auction ends with a winner, the entire character moves to the winner's account and the seller receives the final point amount. If nobody bids, ownership does not change.

Safety checklist before listing:

1. Confirm the exact character name and duration.
2. Check the equipped items shown by the auction preview.
3. Confirm the starting and Buy Now prices; the command does not ask a second time.
4. Remember that the listed character is unavailable for play during the auction.
