Auto Loot

Auto Loot

Auto Loot is managed entirely through the Auto-Loot window in the game client. Use that window to choose items, enable or disable collection, save presets and route item categories into different containers.

There are no player chat commands for this guide. Open the Auto-Loot window from the client interface and use its buttons.

Quick setup

  1. Open the Auto-Loot window.
  2. Press Add, type an exact item name or press Select and click an item.
  3. Repeat until the items you want are shown in the active list.
  4. Press the activation button so the window shows that Auto-Loot is active.
  5. Optional: open Targets and assign containers for specific item categories.

When you loot a corpse, listed items are moved to the selected target container. The system checks your capacity and available container space.

List limits

Account state Active item slots
Normal access 5
Golden Account active 10
Additional Slot Scrolls Added permanently on top of the current base limit, up to 200 bonus slots

The Big Slot Scroll adds 10 permanent Auto-Loot slots. If Golden Account expires, entries beyond the new active limit remain saved, but only the first entries that fit the current limit are active.

Managing the active list

Button What it does

Remove Removes the selected row from the active list.
Clear Clears the current list or selected item field, depending on the section.
Save Saves the current list as a named preset.
Apply Replaces the active list with the selected saved preset.
Restore Returns to the list that was active before previewing a preset.
Targets Opens category-to-container routing.

Saved loot lists

You can save up to 10 named presets. Useful examples are Bosses, Gems, Hunting and Task Loot.

  1. Build the desired active list.
  2. Press Save and enter a unique name.
  3. Select a saved list to preview it.
  4. Press Apply to make it active.

A saved preset cannot be applied when it contains more entries than your current active slot limit. Remove entries or increase your slot limit first.

Target containers

Open Targets to route categories into containers carried by your character. Available categories include Default, Armors, Amulets, Ammunition, Aura Orbs, Boots, Bracelets, Containers, Foods, Helmets and Hats, Legs, Valuables, Potions, Rings, Runes, Shields, Tools, weapon types, Wings and Set Pieces.

The destination priority is:

  1. The container assigned to the item's category.
  2. The container assigned to Default.
  3. Your backpack-slot container when Fallback is enabled.

To assign a target, press the category's selection control and click a container that your character is carrying. A container left on the floor or moved to another character stops being a valid target.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to check
A listed item stays in the corpse Confirm Auto-Loot is active, the entry is within your current slot limit and your character has enough capacity.
Target container is full Free space in the assigned container, assign another one, or enable Fallback.
All containers are full Free container slots or add nested containers with space.
Target disappeared after relog Carry the same assigned container on your character and reselect it in Targets if it was moved, traded or replaced.
A preset cannot be applied It contains more entries than your current active limit.
Automatic no-click loot misses an item The Auto Loot Scroll covers eligible Gheed items only; ordinary listed loot is collected through the normal corpse-looting flow.
