Bonelord Ossuary

The Bonelord Ossuary is a ritual boss encounter against the Ossuary Overlord. It has separate team and solo entrances. Both versions use the same prison mechanic, while the solo arena is tuned for one player.

Choosing a mode

Mode Entry Party handling Completion
Team Stand with your party in the team waiting room and let the leader use the lever. The leader and party members currently inside the waiting room enter together. Defeating Ossuary Overlord unlocks the encounter completion and sends surviving players to the reward room.
Solo Stand in the solo waiting room and use the solo lever. Only the player using the lever enters. A skull, PZ lock or battle sign blocks entry. Defeating Solo Ossuary Overlord unlocks the same encounter completion and sends the player to the exit.

If the selected arena is occupied, wait for the current fight to end before using its lever.

Core encounter loop

  1. Enter through the appropriate lever and engage the Ossuary Overlord.
  2. The boss periodically pulls everyone into a closed bone prison.
  3. Find and destroy the single weaker Necrotic Eyewall. The other walls are much tougher and reflect part of incoming damage.
  4. Destroying the weak wall releases a Cursed Bone Keeper outside the cage.
  5. Defeat the keeper and bring its ritual bone to the altar:
    • Team mode uses a Skeleton Crimson Skull.
    • Solo mode uses a Diabolic Horned Skull.
  6. Drop the correct ritual bone onto the altar to collapse the prison.
  7. Use the one-minute break after a successful altar offering to damage the boss before the next prison phase.
Do not ignore the prison. Necrotic Shatter escalates every 4.5 seconds: 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, then a lethal blast.

Necrotic Shatter

For non-magical vocations, each pulse removes the displayed percentage of maximum HP. For magical vocations, it first drains that percentage of maximum mana; if there is not enough mana, the pulse damages HP instead. The final pulse is lethal.

The boss is heavily protected during the prison phase. The intended solution is the weak wall → Bone Keeper → ritual bone → altar sequence.

Team tips

  • Spread responsibilities before pulling the lever: wall finder, Bone Keeper killer and skull carrier.
  • Focus the single weak wall. Hitting strong walls wastes time and returns part of the damage.
  • Necromancers accumulate during the fight, so keep their number under control.
  • Keep a clear route from the Bone Keeper to the altar.
  • Players outside the leader's waiting room are not included when the encounter starts.

Solo tips

  • Enter without a combat lock and with enough capacity to carry the Diabolic Horned Skull.
  • The solo prison has weaker walls and fewer supporting enemies, but the Shatter timer is unchanged.
  • Save burst damage and movement tools for locating the weak wall and reaching the spawned keeper.
  • Do not spend time attacking the boss while the prison is active.

Failure and retry

There is no personal daily cooldown in the active lever encounter. A retry is possible when the arena has reset and is empty. The run fails in practice when all participants die or leave and the boss remains undefeated.

Rewards and progression

  • Both versions mark the Ossuary Overlord encounter as completed for surviving participants inside the arena.
  • Team winners are moved to the reward room after the kill.
  • Solo winners are moved to the solo exit after the kill.
  • Team mode's tangible reward is claimed from the reward room; solo mode grants completion and exits directly.
