Quest Walkthrough

Part 1 – Imperious Quest

The first step takes place on the Isle of the Kings.

1. Travel to Carlin, then exit through the west gate.

2. Continue heading west, then slightly north until you find a building by the shoreline. Inside, you will meet NPC Dalbrect.

3. Speak to Dalbrect to sail to the island.

  - You must have 10 gold pieces in your backpack — he will not accept funds from your bank.

4. Once on the island, enter the main building and descend the stairs. Keep going down through several levels until you reach a level 130+ door on the north wall.

5. Beyond this door lies a monster farming area where you must accumulate 1,000 / 1,000 Prisoners on your Monster Points tracker.

After reaching the target: - Head north and step on the waypoint gate to save your location — you will need this later to exit quickly.

- Once your task is complete, find the NPC at spot “1” on the map and summon the boss Keeper of the Prison.

- Defeat the boss, enter the spawned portal, and claim your rewards.

You now gain access to the Vampire Amulet of Power Quest. Next, proceed to spot “2” on the map. Walk inside and go upstairs — this will begin the next phase.

Part 2 – Vampire Amulet of Power Quest

Follow the images and red path markers for reference.

1. Be cautious when you pull the lever in the first chamber — doing so summons a large group of Thirstseekers. Defeat them, then proceed down the stairs to the next area.

2. You’ll find yourself in a long corridor filled with Ebonhart Necrolords stationed on both sides. They cast ranged attacks, making melee combat difficult — proceed carefully.

3. Before reaching the boss room, you must activate two levers to unlock the gates:

  - Lever 1 – guarded by 10× Ebonhart Necrolords
  - Lever 2 – guarded by 10× Thirstseekers
Refer to the map below for precise positions.

After both levers have been pulled, the path to the boss room opens.

Part 3 – Boss Encounter: Dreadmist Duke

Inside the arena awaits the powerful Dreadmist Duke.

- Prepare for a multi-phase fight — the boss alternates between magic and melee phases.

- Maintain spacing, as Dreadmist Duke summons smaller Thirstseekers periodically.

- Area-of-effect runes are effective for crowd control.

- Avoid standing in his curse fields — they inflict heavy mana drain and healing reduction.

Once defeated, a blue portal spawns in the arena.

Step through to reach the Reward Room.

Part 4 – Reward Room

Inside the reward chamber: - Collect your Vampire Amulet of Power, along with the listed items.

- If you completed the Imperious Quest beforehand, all rewards will be accessible.

- When ready, step into the purple portal, which teleports you back to the surface waypoint gate. Use the gate to exit the island safely.

Quest Complete

You have completed the Vampire Amulet of Power + Imperious Quest.

This quest chain grants access to end-game vampire-themed gear and powerful lifesteal bonuses, preparing you for future challenges on the Isle of the Kings and beyond.

Tips

  • Always carry the 10 gold pieces for Dalbrect — bank gold will not work.
  • The Keeper of the Prison can only be summoned after reaching 1,000 Prisoners on your Monster Points tracker.
  • Bring area-damage spells or runes for large Thirstseeker swarms.
  • Ebonhart Necrolords deal heavy ranged magic damage — magic shield or distance combat is highly recommended.
  • The Vampire Amulet of Power synergizes well with lifesteal builds and tank roles.
