= Gem Disassembly =

== Requirements ==

* The target must already contain at least one extractable gem.
* The crystal and the equipment must both be inside your containers.
* The equipment cannot be worn while disassembling it.

== Step by step ==

# Move the enchanted item and an Advanced Disenchant Crystal into your backpack.
# Use the crystal on the enchanted item.
# In the window, choose a gem family or an individual gem and amount.
# Confirm the extraction.

On success, the exact embedded gems you selected are returned. One Advanced Disenchant Crystal is consumed. If you do not have enough capacity, recovered gems are delivered to your inbox.

== What can be extracted? ==

* Ordinary stat gems can be removed individually or as a whole family.
* An active Protection Gem can be recovered.
* The Vocation Gem assigned to an item can be recovered, but only after every gem level above the normal base cap has been removed.
* A Vocation Change Scroll is a conversion tool, not an embedded gem, so it is not returned by disassembly.
